The levitating moon is great. There are many levitating moons out
there, but most are the smaller 5 inch size. We wanted the larger 7
inch size, and this company is the only one we could find with the 7
inch size. We love the syle of the moon, as it is extremely
realistic...amd we love the fact that you can change the color to 3
different shades of white. The middle white is our favorite. Overall,
very happy with our levitating moon, and very happy with the company. -

How big is the Moon Lamp?

What material is it made of?
he Moon Lamp sphere is 3D printed from sturdy and lightweight ABS & PVC plastic. The stand is made from
wood and magnets. The light source comes from an environmentally
friendly and heat-safe LED bulb.
How does it levitate?
Inside the wooden base there is an
electromagnet and a magnetic induction charger. When lowering the moon onto the base, the outermost electromagnets serve to attract the base while the inner magnets create a repelling force. This is what holds the moon in place and causes it to hover a few centimetres above the base.
